Last Sunday, April 21stat theOceanside Harbor, the San Juan Hills Surf Team won the 2013 Scholastic Surf Series Division B High School Overall Surf Team State Championship. Since there is no CIF Division for High School Surfing, this is the highest achievement that our team can earn in a single season. In fact, this was just our 3rd season participating in the State Championships as an entire team. These students wake up at dawn all year and practice through the cold winter mornings with water temps dipping into thelow 50's, all in preparation for this event. All of their hard work and determination paid off today as they surfed their way to 3 Men’s Finals appearances, and claiming the Men’s Longboard Team State Championship for the 3rd straight year. Congratulations and GO STALLIONS!
