CAHSEE

Passing the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) is a graduation requirement which began in the 2005-06 school year.  The CAHSEE assesses Calfornia academic content starndards for English-language arts (ELA) and mathematics.

2012 November Retest - Seniors and Juniors

On Tuesday, November 6th (English Language Arts) and Wednesday, November 7th  (Math),  Seniors and Juniors who have not passed either section of the CAHSEE test will be tested.   Students and parents will be notified in letter form as to where students are to report on testing days.  If you have any questions contact the Guidance Department at 234-5997.

2013 February Test - Seniors Only

On Tuesday, February 5th (English Language Arts) and Wednesday, February  6h  (Math),  Seniors  who have not passed either section of the CAHSEE test will be tested.   Students and parents will be notified in letter form as to where students are to report on testing days.  If you have any questions contact the Guidance Department at 234-5997.

2013 March Test for Sophmores

The State of California requires all students to pass the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) in order to receive a high school diploma.  The first opportunity to take this important test is during the sophomore year.  The CAHSEE is comprised of 2 parts:  One part is the English Language Arts and the other is mathematics.  All sophomores will take the English portion of the test on Tuesday, March 12th and the math portion on Wednesday, March 13th.  Students must take and pass both sections of the test.

Student's may take the CAHSEE five times prior to graduation.  Once a student has passed either portion of the test they do not have to repeat  that particular section.
